Common Questions

Questions Families Often Ask

What happens during the initial consultation?

The initial consultation is a confidential conversation where Elizabeth listens to your concerns, learns about your loved one's situation, and helps you understand your options. There is no pressure and no obligation — just expert guidance.

How quickly can you begin working with our family?

In most cases, Elizabeth can schedule an initial call within 24–48 hours of your inquiry. For urgent situations — such as a family member currently hospitalized — she will do her best to prioritize your case.

Do you offer telehealth or remote consultations?

Yes. While many of our services are provided in person across Manhattan and New York City, we also offer telehealth consultations for families who are long-distance or prefer the convenience of a virtual meeting.

Is the initial consultation free?

Please contact us directly to discuss consultation fees. We believe every family deserves access to expert guidance and are happy to explain our approach and any associated costs during your initial call.

What areas do you serve?

Salus Care Consulting primarily serves families in Manhattan, the Upper West Side, Upper East Side, Brooklyn, and surrounding New York City communities. We also provide remote support for long-distance families monitoring a loved one in our service area.

Is my information kept private?

Absolutely. All inquiries, consultations, and client information are held in strict confidence. Your privacy and your loved one's dignity are fundamental to how we work — always.
